Welcome to Vietnam!
Before Christmas, the road to the parish in Ho Chi Minh City was jammed
HCMC – Thousands of vehicles flock to the village on Pham The Hien Street (District 8) to have fun during the approaching Christmas, causing traffic congestion on this street and prolonged traffic jams.
Pham The Hien Street (District 8) is known as the place where many Catholic churches gather. Every year, this place becomes a place for Ho Chi Minh City people to gather to visit and have fun every Christmas .
As noted by Labor on the evening of December 19, even though it was not Christmas 2023, there were already a large number of people flocking to this hamlet to have fun and take photos. This causes traffic on Pham The Hien Street to become congested for a long time.
Traffic jams occur continuously from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Images of thousands of vehicles lined up on Pham The Hien Street on the evening of December 19.
Despite the traffic jam, many people still seemed happy, moving and admiring the miniatures decorated on both sides of Pham The Hien Street.
Many people also stopped their cars at some decorated landscapes to take photos. This makes traffic jams more serious.
Many young people were here quite early to have fun and take photos.
Ms. Ngoc Yen (District 11) said that she has been in Ho Chi Minh City for many years but this is the first time she has come to Pham The Hien parish to have fun during Christmas. “The churches here are decorated very beautifully. I am most impressed with the church area with artificial snow,” Ms. Ngoc Yen said.
It is predicted that from now until Christmas 2023, this traffic jam will continue every night. On the night of December 24, traffic jams may become more serious. People coming here to have fun can travel by public transport or park their cars from afar and then walk towards the churches.
