Being a place that is rarely mentioned in Hoa Binh, but that does not mean that the scenery in Ba Khan is less attractive than in other places.

About 100km northwest of Hanoi, Ba Khan is isolated as a hidden paradise, a place few people know but when they set foot in, they are all captivated by the charming scenery here.

Ba Khan is a commune in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province, made up of 3 hamlets: Khan Ha, Khan Ho and Khan Thuong. The area located at the foot of Thung Khe Pass is covered with clouds all year round and is located along the Da River, creating a picture of both majestic and mysterious nature.

Without even setting foot in Ba Khan, the road leading there is already a journey filled with wonderful scenery. The zigzag bends, winding along the mountainside with one side is a cliff, the other is a poetic lake bed. Just stopping at any point with a wide view, visitors can catch all the beautiful photos.

Spending time in Ba Khan, visitors can find their way back to nature when they have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in heaven and earth, overwhelmed by the towering cliffs, the vast lake bed with small islands. From the peaceful village roads to the fragrant rice fields, the green hills stretching across an area… all together create an extremely poetic and relaxing experience.

Besides simply enjoying the peaceful scenery of a peaceful countryside, tourists who love to explore can look to Go Lao waterfall. The powerful, fierce waterfall falls from the source like a silk strip between the four sides of bamboo and trees. Go Lao Waterfall still retains its original wild features, visitors will have the opportunity to freely struggle in nature unaffected by human hands.

Stop at Ba Khan, don’t forget to miss 2 “golden” moments to admire the charm of this land. One is when Ba Khan is at the time when the sun has just emerged in the early morning, when the clouds are still wandering, covering the mountains and hills when hidden when appearing, looking half-real and half-real.

Secondly, in the late afternoon when sunset falls, the fog has dissipated and the view becomes more open, the scenery of the water in Ba Khan is immersed in poetic red and yellow colors, touching people’s hearts.
