Just arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to travel, Nguyen Thuong Hien is the first food street Mr. Quang and Ms. Vien (Da Nang) experienced. “We stayed at a hotel recently, looked on the map of the crowded area and came to it. The first impression was that the food was cheap and delicious.” The two brothers and sisters said that they will experience more famous dishes such as mixed rice paper, mixed bamboo, and baked goods.

My and Hang (20 years old, students living in Ho Chi Minh City) shared that they knew about the food street when watching on social networks. “Cars have been banned, so the road with motorbikes running across along with sitting on the road (green line) creates a very interesting feeling of eating and observing,” My said.

Hang added that motorbikes here run slower, partly to keep a safe distance from people sitting on the road, partly to observe the new neighborhood so we feel safe.

After experiencing the food street, visitors can move to other famous places in District 3 to visit such as Saigon station, Tan Dinh church, Con Rua lake, Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Chantarangsay pagoda, museum.
